Two Lincoln County relay teams took first place in events at the NCHSAA Track & Field Championships over the weekend.  The North Lincoln girls won the 4 x 800 relay at the 2A meet on Saturday.  The Lincoln Charter boys won the 4 x 800 at the 1A meet on Sunday.

North Lincoln, Lincoln Charter Advance in Baseball Playoffs
North Lincoln jumped out to an early lead, then held on for a win Saturday over Smoky Mountain to advance in the NCHSAA 2A baseball playoffs.  The Knights will host Ledford Senior from Thomasville Tuesday evening at 7 PM.  Lincoln Charter beat East Surry 2-0 in their 1A playoff game. They'll play either at Murphy on Tuesday.
